Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick have sold their townhouse in New York’s West Village for $15 million, according to property records.
The red-brick townhouse has three stories and is about 4,182 square feet, according to real-estate data website PropertyShark. The couple bought the home for $2.995 million in 2000, records show.
The home is on Charles Street, not far from the property used as the residence of Carrie Bradshaw, Ms. Parker’s character on the television show “Sex and the City.” It dates to around 1905 and has a brownstone base and a quintessential New York stoop, much like Ms. Bradshaw’s.
Ms. Parker and Mr. Broderick had not listed the home publicly. In 2016, they purchased a pair of townhouses on nearby West 11th Street for a combined $34.5 million. A spokeswoman for Ms. Parker was not immediately available for comment.
The identity of the buyer, who purchased via a limited liability company, could not be determined.
